Yomi ko (夜泉子) is a term first mentioned in Fatal Frame V, referring to children born between a living woman and a dead man. The word is written in general folklore as 黄泉子, meaning "child of the underworld", but in the Mount Hikami area it is written 夜泉子 ("child of yomi").
